Prof. Susannah Ahern is the Head of the Clinical Outcomes data Reporting and Research Program (CORRP) at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SPHPM) at Monash University, where she leads a number of registries including the Australian Breast Device Registry, the Australian Dementia Network Registry, the Australasian Pelvic Floor Procedure Registry and the Australian Cystic Fibrosis Data Registry. As a previous medical administrator, she is course Coordinator of the Master of Health Management/Master Health Administration at SPHPM. She is a member of the Australian Commission in Safety and Quality in Health Care’s Advisory Committee for CQRs, the Commonwealth Department of Health’s CQR Strategy Expert Advisory Group and the Victorian DHHS’s CQR Advisory Group. Susannah represents the ABDR on the TGA Breast Implant Expert Working Group and the International Collaboration of Breast Registry Activities (ICOBRA).

The ABDR Clinical Advisory Committee supports and advises the ABDR on clinical matters to ensure that the ABDR is clinician-led, and remains informed of relevant clinical practice related to breast device surgery and related issues. This committee both supports and operated under direction of the ABDR Steering Committee and oversees the data to day activity.
